is there a way to flash my 48125s so it can rewrite CDRW media 24x?
I have no need for higher burning speed with CDR’s but would like to enhance rewriting-speed.

no, the 48125s uses the meditek 5 chipset. The new burners that have 24x rewrite have mediatek 6 chipset, and they’re nt compatible.
Tried it myself.
