When our NeroAPI application is abnormally terminated, the drive is sometimes left in a locked state. So far we haven’t been able to find any completely programmatic way to bring that drive back online. (The closest we’ve come is a procedure that requires that the drive open button be pressed.)
Our system is robotic, but it doesn’t have enough degrees of freedom to press its own buttons.
Can anyone suggest a software command that would bring a drive back to full programmatic control?
