Unhappy w/NEC 3520@4x vs 2500@8x

:a I just had newegg send a 3520a, i flashed it with:
LD3520 1.U6 (Beta 6) (Liggy & Dee NEC ND-3520A firmware)
first burn nero would not allow anything more then 4x burn with it, i went to dvd decryptor & while it offered full range of speed i set it to burn at 6x, it would only burn at 4x with media i been burning for months at 8x in the 2500a? what a POS i paid more money to burn at slower speeds? or is there a diff firmeware i need to resolve this issue? :Z

Whats the MID of this media?
Then maybe we can help.

The TechGEEK.com is what the case says, burns fine at 8x on the 2500 that had been firmware upgraded, never had one bad burn at 8x with these so it would seem the media should be fine in this newer nec to at least 8x

while it seems to work fine, im still at the 4x limit, so i will keep watching for newer versions
