Unfix betablocker images

Is it possible to undo the changes that betablocker did to an image file? I had working copies of Operation Flashpoint and MoH:AA, but when I make new copies from "fixed" images by betablocker, they no longer work. Is it possible to unfix the images? FOr teh record, I am using CloneCD 4.0.1.3 with a LG CGE-8320B drive.

I cannot figure out what happened here. Made images and used betablocker to “fix” them. Made working copies, but am unable to now. Nothing on the system has changed. Strange…

Just re-read the game from your original CD?

#4

I no longer have the orginal CDs.

Try using FES with error correction on. I also know of another method, but Futureproof doesn’t want me to tell you (btw, it doesn’t involve cracks. Seriously).

#6

Err…why not? That means your backups are not legal. Tut Tut.

Sure. Extract the weak sectors, unscramble
them, restore the bytes, scramble the sectors
and put them back into the image.

May I ask why Futureproof doesn’t want you to share the info. Here’s some more added wierdness. WHen I burn the images toa CDRW, they work fine. Trying to different types of CDR media (Memorex and TDK) results in bad copies. What is different with the CDRWs?
