Microsoft posted a video of Microsoft employee Major Nelson unboxing the Xbox One Day One Edition. The video shows a massive box required to power the console.

Looks about the same size as a 360 PSU

An internal power supply would be nice but there are valid reasons to make it external.
The external power supply means less cooling and easier fixes is the psu blows up.

I’ll bet that there will soon be a protest on the defectivebydesign.org blog regaurding how DRM-latent this device is. The PS/4 will likely follow suit.

I prefer power bricks.
They’re cheaper to replace WHEN the supply dies.
