I made a copy of one of my DVDs from my collection and it plays fine in my DVD player but when I try to read the disc on my PC with PowerDVD, I get
A disc with an unsupported format in drive F:
If I try to see the contents of the disc with Windows Explorer, it shows that it’s empty, 0 bytes free and total size 0 bytes and the file system shows RAW. Finally, the disc info from KProbe2 shows:
Disc Type DVD-R Book Type DVD-R Manufacturer Media ID Protection System None Region 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 Capacity 8192.00 GB Free Size 0.00 GB Free Blocks 0 Number of Layers 1 Linear Density 0.267 um/bit Track Density 0.74 um/track Maximum Read Speed 0.0x Maximum Write Speed 9.692E4x Current Write Speed 0.0x CLV
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I’ve been trying to figure this out for hours, even tried flashing to the latest LiteON firmware, when that didn’t work, I went back to stock.
