Okay, so whilst I was at my local supplier I decided to try out new brand of DVD-R, bought purely for experimental reasons. At 13p each, they probably weren't all that cheap.
So, I bought 15 eDisc DVD-Rs (Rated 8x burning speed) and to my surprise, and potential horror, the MID code said it was produced by UmeDisc - UME02 to be a little more specific.
I'm using a LiteOn laptop burner so I'm not very optimistic it will work at all, as UmeDisc don't have that much support burner wise. If they prove to be at least mid way decent, I'll use them for non-essential burns 
I actually thought it would be fake TYG02 - But Good Lord it seems to be even worse. So, can someone vouch, or perhaps explain, how this disc is overall?
