I am new here, and I THOUGHT I had purchased a lightscribe dvd burner drive from circuit city in Jan....
I had a bunch of regular blank dvds that weren't lightscribe...so I waited until I used them all before getting new dvds that were lightscribe.
Well, it turns out my dvd burder is NOT a lightscribe burner.
I am aware of the other options, such as the printer that puts the label on the dvd itself....but I have also heard of a fall back plan....
Apparently there are ULTRA THIN (like tracing paper) labels that are made by Avery or Tudor that won't effect play of a dvd.
I tried looking them up....but I just got a bunch of matte paper ones...and some called Matte FILM ones....I didn't know which of these were the "ultra thin" like tracing paper.
I REALLY want to lable my dvds without simply using a magic marker, but I cannot afford to get a new printer, and since circuit city went out of business...I am stuck with this burner.
Can anyone tell em EXACTLY what to get if I want these ultra thin labels?
Please help and be descriptive. I am new at this stuff!
