Tomorrow morning Lord Mandelson will present the Digital Economy Bill to the public, which among other things is aimed at reducing illicit file-sharing. According to parts of the bill that leaked today, the legislation could lead to jail terms for file-sharers and unprecedented power for the entertainment industries.

The linked article seems very biased, not to mention based on rumour.
I’d prefer seeing this confirmed by a more neutral source.

Jail my **** we can’t put real criminals inside here in the UK due to the government interfering and lack of prison places.
The labour gov will be gone in 6-7 months a great deal of legislation they say they’re going to do just won’t happen.
