UDF Volume Recognition Sequence

Hello,

I read in a book that the Anchor Volume descriptor pointer AVDP points to the Volume Recognition Sequence which then points the the primary volume descriptor.

Can anyone confirm this as looking at the UDF specifications at www.osta.org it doesnt say it works like that at all?

Thanks

Edit: meant Volume Descriptor Sequence not recognition sequence. some question tho?

nevermind found out here http://www.ecma-international.org/publications/files/ECMA-ST/Ecma-167.pdf

Right. For anyone else interested :

The AVDP is recorded in accordance with ECMA 167 and “requires an Anchor Volume Descriptor Pointer (AVDP) at sector 256…”.
“An Anchor Volume Descriptor Pointer shall identify the Main Volume Descriptor Sequence…”

The Main Volume Descriptor Sequence consists of a consecutively recorded sequence of one or more Volume Structure Descriptors.
The 1st Volume Structure Descriptor is the Primary Volume Descriptor.
