Type-1 to Type-2 DV AVI Converter - What works?

Greetings,

I’m looking for a converter that will take my DV Type-1 AVI files and output them as DV Type-2 AVI files. Any ideas?

I’d love to just recapture the video from the tapes but some of the tapes have already been recorded over :sad: .

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunatly, that utility fails to convert the audio after the 4 gig mark. Many of my files are 60 minutes of DV video, which makes them about 12.5 gig each.

It would be so nice if Nero Recode would simply accept the Type 1 file… pitty it can’t recode what it captures.
