Two file sizes?

Hey everyone.

I recently downloaded a movie file (legally of course). It’s an .avi file. When I hit properties, it gives me two file sizes: one that’s under 711 meg (which therefore I can burn) and another, in brackets, that’s around 745 megs. Now when I try to burn it, it registers in Easy CD Creator as 728 meg (???), which is still too much and I cannot burn it.

Can anyone help me out with this madness?
Why the two file sizes, and, more importantly is there anything I can do to burn this annoying file on a regular 80min/700meg CD?

Thanks fellas,

Either try Mode 2 ( ISO tab > Format > … ) or 90’ CDR.
Also the file can be shrinked by using e.g. Dr.DivX and stuff like that.

Hmm…I don’t think Easy CD Creator 5 has Mode 2…can’t find anything regarding ISO tabs, or Format…then again I’m a newb. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Sorry, I just failed to realize that. Of course, I meant the Nero ISO mode.
