They're just cheap sony CDRs from the local supermarket. Like i said though, i haven't had any problems with this media before. I'm half-way through a 100 CD stack and the other 50 have been fine. After a lot of stuffing around, i managed to burn one music disc on the LG DVD combo drive in Nero. I think Daemon Tools is causing part of the problem. I can't seem to permanently disable the virtual drives. I can temporarily disable them, but after reboot they are back. When i disabled them, the Combo drive allowed me to burn a CD in Nero.
I think i need to delete Daemon, but it's not in the Add/Remove Programs list. Would just deleting the files and using msconfig to remove daemon from the startup list fix the problem?
Anyone have any suggestions?
-Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2 and all latest Microsoft updates.
-1.92Ghz CPU (AMD Athlon 2600+)
-1 GB DDR RAM
-Albatron KM18G Pro Mobo.
-I think the Liteon CD drive is master and the LG Combo is slave.
