I somehow can not help wondering why people would want to waste their spare time watching TV-series.
Personally, if I watch something it is to learn. I listen to music several hours each day sure, but I am able to read and learn at the same time since my eyes are free.
In an average week, I watch 2.5 hours news broadcast. That’s it, the rest is devoted to sleep, work, social activities, music listening and learning.
My life simply is too short…:flower:

I admit I’m the same - I don’t watch any TV show series and maybe watch a film or two a year.

I do watch quite a lot of documentaries on YouTube and the BBC, along with music videos on occasion. We don’t even have a subscription to any TV package either, just a plain free-to-air satellite box which gets the BBC channels along with our local over the air broadcasts.

I know people who spend around €100/month on Sky TV, especially sports fanatics.

 - Yep, the day the joy of learning died and they found they wanted to be pacified like the rest of the ‘normal’ population - Finally even they have something ‘interesting’ to talk about when they get to work tomorrow

I like TV.  The hard part is there’s a lot of entertaining quality TV shows out there.  You have to make sure you don’t get sucked in.  Everything’s good in moderation. Not good all the time.

I think that’s the key to most things in life, not just TV. :):iagree::iagree:
