Tsstcorp TS-L632D event id 51

Hi!

A couple of days ago, i did a fresh install with Windows Vista Home Premium.
Today i wanted to watch a movie, and i inerted a dvd in my drive. Suddenly it tries to spin up, then it spins down, then it spins up again, and down again… It just keeps doing that for a min or two. Then it stops, and nothing happens.

I have no trouble reading dvd media like game discs (Such as Battlefield 2, Half-Life 2 dvd discs, etc.). It only happens when i try to play a dvd movie.

I’ve flashed to drive to AC01, but that dident help. Other people who had problems with the drive, deletede some upper and lower flow reg. files in the registry. I tried to do that, but didnt even have those files. (They had error code 39, not 51, but some of the same symptomes.)

I really need help from you guys!

Hi and Welcome!

Does this happen with any DVD movie or with a particular disc?

Eventid 51 in event log is something really different from an error code in device manager. Maybe this helps: http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=51&eventno=139&source=Cdrom&phase=1 That error seems to be media related, so the disc might be in a bad condition or simply dirty.
