Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 with a TS-l632d DVD burner. It can read and write all formats except it seems like it cannot read or write DL DVDs which is odd because it is supposed to be able to. Does anyone have any advice? BTW it is already set to UDMA. Thanks in advance.

The only DL Media that consistently produces quality error free results is Verbatim MKM001/MKM003 Mitsubishi Kagaku Media. All other DL Media is considered suspect and should be avoided (not used).
Sorry that this post is so late, but I am having the same problem, The dual layer disc works in other laptop computers, and DVD players. It is an original movie disc - dual layer. I haven’t been able to access any dual layer disc. I have a tsscorp TS-L632D HH018
