Trying to transfer mp3's from damaged DVD

Hi all,
I’m trying to transfer my MP3 library from damaged DVDs to my hard drive. Consequentially, I get lot’s of cyclic redundancy errors and what not. For whatever reason, windows just stops transferring all of the files on the disk when it hits an error rather than skip to the next good one. This obviously is very annoying and time consuming to keep manually starting a new transfer.

Any ideas on software that could help me? I mean, it would be nice to have something that would help recover damaged files, but I’m really more concerned with getting all of the good files off the dvd without much ado.

Thanks in advance

Here’s a link to a freeware app you can try:

http://www.topdrawerdownloads.com/download/104971

Another option is Isobuster, http://www.isobuster.com/, it is not free but they may offer a trial version.

Look for a file management program called Z-tree

It will allow you to skip to the next track on errors.

“CD Recovery Tool” did the trick. Thank you both for posting.
