I am attempting to build against the latest NeroAPI v7.
I am building using the multi-threaded debug DLL runtime so I am linking
I am using Visual Studio 2005.
Everything builds fine. But when I go to run, it pops up a dialog box saying:
“This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.DLL was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem.”
If I build in “release” instead of debug, I do not get this error. I think what’s happening is that I’m linking with the glue library, which is only built for release. So, when I link with it, it’s trying to use the release version of the runtime. I’ve tried to ignore that library in debug mode, but it still complains. I’ve also tried making a copy of the release version (msvcr80.dll) into the directory and then it crashes in a different way on startup.
