Triple Play 2002 and CloneCD

I have been attempting, unsuccessfully, to make a backup copy of Triple Play Baseball (2002). I have been able to copy the disc, but it will not run unless I overwrite the executable on my HD with a version that has cracked the Safedisc2 protection. I hope it is necessary to copy this CD without using a crack – it must be. Below is my configuration and any details I think you will need. Please let me know if you have any ideas as to how I should configure CloneCD (I use Version 3.0.5.1). Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately your config doesn’t make any difference since SafeDisc 2 totally depends on your burner and the HP simply cannot do it. No matter how hard you try :frowning: For a SD2 compatible hardware list check here or the CloneCD Hardware Requirements (check EFM Encoding)…

Sorry :frowning:

Hey Game, I don’t mean to quetion you, but I have been able to TP2002, I just can’t play it without a unsafedisc patch, so I think my burner can do it.

How would you config if you thought my burner were compatible?

Making a copy of a sd2 protected game is no big deal.

The problem is getting the game to start.

So if you don’t have a Philips based (Acer, waitec or Iomega), your copy wouldn’t work without a crack. ( the copy might work in the copy itself).

Hey Tittentei, The HP7200 is simply a rebadged Philips CDD3610. Does that change matter for you?
