Recently I received lots of questions/messages where people are confused about if TRIM functionality of the current SSD is working or not.
Some pages recommended use of Windows "fsutil" command to check and both this and some tools provided by the manufacturers of the SSD displays that TRIM is active - while Hard Disk Sentinel displays it is not - and this causes serious confusion.
Generally, the problem is caused by the driver of the disk controller / motherboard (where the SSD is connected) - which may block the TRIM command, even the TRIM function of the operating system is enabled and should be working.
