I have a weird problem. I have tried this in two different Lite-On drives and two different media and two different burning apps with the same results.
I am using Kprobe .17 and it also had this problem with .16. I seem to have lost .13 which was installed and running fine so I cannot test if the same error occurs. If someone can point me to a link with .13 of Kprobe I could uninstall .17 and install .13 to test.
Basically I have burned a disc with no C2 and low C1 errors all the way up to 98% of the disc scan. At that point Kprobe has problems reading the disc and starts reporting that message "Track slipped at LBA: numerical value".
Now I tried running the test using Kprobe on both a Lite-On 522406S and a Lite-On 2410**B. I also tried burning in both drives with two different media types and two different burning apps (Nero and CD Mate) with similar results.
I need .13 of Kprobe to confirm this but it may be a bug.
EDIT: Just tried CD Doctor 1.04 and it does not exhibit the Track slipped problem at 98%
I need .13 full install to confirm
