Toshiba sells PC unit to Sharp, completes sale of NAND memory division

Japanese electronics company Sharps today announced it has acquired Toshiba’s PC division. Sharp plans to sell PCs under the Toshiba brand name. Earlier this month, Toshiba also completed the sale of its NAND flash memory division.

Interesting. I wonder if this will someday lead to Sharp selling PCs under it’s own brand. I don’t know much about Sharp (and have never even seen a Sharp PC), except that in the '90s they supplied the CPUs for the Nintendo Gameboy and the Nintendo Gameboy Color.
