“Priced at only $999 retail” WTF? I thought HD-DVD players were $500 to $600. That kind of price will kill them in the market. I think I’ll wait for the HD-XA3 !! :wink:

I don’t know if it is the same model exaclty as reviewed as I am uninterested in these devices and will not bother reading about it. However, I happened to see a model called TOSHIBA HDA2 HD DVD Player at Newegg this morning. There, you can “snag” one of these DRM riddled beauties for $399 and they will even send you a free HD DVD movie later by mail.
