If you’re in North America, here’s another page of Falcon DVDs to consider. These show a Unit Price but you have to buy in Hundreds - “QTY=100, 200, etc.”
(These WILL have shipping charges, by the way, however these plus Shipping are often as good or better deals than some Taiyo-Yudens ‘with free shipping’. And some folks here will push the PLUS Falcons over the MINUS-Rs, but we’re using Falcons because of their promised long life span.)
Taiyo-Yudens are a third brand (with Verbatims) to consider. At some point, “price” plays a role and maybe it’s a good thing to have alternate disks you’ve tested with success.
If you don’t have thermal-lacquer or inkjet printers, then getting a Printable Surface is an expense you can avoid.
Thanks, ChristineBCW, for the info.
Here is one of the better authorities/evaluations of blank media:
Media user opinions here in the Forums are like bellybuttons - everyone has one-eh!!
You will note that Falcon medias are rated as Second Class - probably due to lack of quality controls or tight material specifications - or both.
Thanks for your response, bigmike7. I’d have to amend your statement…"everyone has [more than] one-eh!!"
