Two thoughts: First, really? In my limited time browsing the Microsoft Store, I’ve only seen a couple apps that cost more than $5.00, and people have found a way (or a need) to steal them? Second, you say “MyCE does not condone piracy”, but MyCE is pretty quick about putting up information on any crack that comes along. I’d say it’s a pretty fine line there between informing and condoning.

We call it reporting

Showing someone a door is NOT forcing them to walk through it! Information in and of itself is neither good nor evil. There is no “condoning” an action just by providing information about it. By that reasoning, that would make every news media outlet in the world liable for every story about murder or rape or theft that they reported on…!

Besides making applications free, the tool also makes it possible to install Metro applications without using the Windows 8 Store.

Nice.

is it safe to use these apps

Seriously? I can’t believe I am reading this why complain about the reporting of internet news I don’t see any links posted or even telling you where to go download anything related to so called piracy come on man how censored does the site have to get?? really think about there should be a lil bit of responsibility on the reader as to what they choose to do with the information what ever it maybe it shouldn’t be expected that every site acts like the world police.

Myce only does it to get hits from Google. People think they will find the tool here when titles like this are used on the website - “Tool converts Windows 8 Store trial apps to full paid version – for free”

It’s possible but again the end user is free to do as they wish if they go looking for it say on “Google” that’s not this sites responsibility after the end user leaves Myce.com the site is no longer held liable nor was it liable in the beginning for anything it’s freedom of speech it’s called a free press under U.S Constitution.

If someone ever releases something like this that, rather than make it easier to pirate software, enables nerds like me to use Metro apps without UAC, I’b probably pay good money to get it.

Be warned: ISPs are spying on all of us starting today. If you decide to use this tool, know that you will be killed in the night by copyright police!

That’s probably why Domin8tor said “Myce does not condone piracy and we do not allow links nor discussion on where to get the tool.” That way newbs don’t register just to ask “how do I get it?”
