Coming from pioneer I not use to wasting so many blanks. Its like one out of 5 burns I do my write rate goes to zero or I get I/O errors. I do it again and the burn is fine so its not encoding process. Is there some reasons why this is happening? Same media and setup that done over 100 burns no problem before this.

What firmware you running ?

What motherboard chipset ?

Have you tried isolating the drive on its own IDE channel if it already isn’t ?

Have you tried replacing the IDE cable ?

Sounds like an IDE driver/system issue.

Maybe you have an nvidia nforce chipset based mainboard? :Z:Z
