I’m not saying any of this stuff is a good deal or not, just posting whats on sale. If anyone wants me to post other stuff from these stores (more computers, cameras, games (specify format) etc), just ask and state weather you would like to see them just this week or every week.
Sorry for posting so late (had the ads a few hours ago) but you know, stuff came up and I wasn’t near a computer.

It’s pretty good. Actually just a collection of about 4 minigames tied together into a larger game, but theres a ton of replay value and the gameplay is as balanced and fun as you’d expect from Sid Meier.

And thanks for the heads up- that must have taken forever to post.

#3

Thanks for the reply. If it is as good as his other stuff I’ll give it a try. Now to check around and see if thats a good price or not. Fyi about it taking a long time, it did but not as bad as it will probably be on weeks that thier are compusa, staples, office max, office depot, best buy, circuit city and fry’s ads in the paper. On those weeks I think I may stick to dvd/cd media, drives and stuff that looks like a really good deal only rather than randomly posting a bunch of stuff.

#4

thanks for the efforts ripit. im tempted to get some more 16X ± Verbatims but i don’t think i need any more media ATM.

#5

ripit: thnks again. nice work.

Compusa NetGear G Router $29 - Staples twist - price match $27.50 (out the door) $25 web rebate = $2.50

http://www.stinner.com/2005/04/17/netgear-wireless-router-for-250/

I know this isn’t media related but it seems like a good deal. I will let you know if it works.

#12

all Verbatim media is on sale at Best Buy btw. 3 pack of DL discs is $17.49.

#13

It worked. Staples matched CUSA’s price, but no +10% cut, oh well.
Netgear WGR 54mbps wireless 802.11G router. $32.69 out the door including tax + I received a easy rebate redemption form for $25, which worked online.

#14

RyanChappelle, you may want to start a new thread with a descriptive title for that deal. it might get noticed by more people who are interested. just a suggestion. congrats on a sweet deal

#15

I don’t have the CUSA’s ad from Sunday’s paper. Can i just print out their price on the website and bring it to staples?

#16

I went into Staples with a printout from CompUSA’s website. and the guy said “we don’t match web deals” I explained that it was in their sales paper this week. He called and verified that they had them locally and in stock. I would drop by compusa and get an ad on the way if you can.

I did not tell the guy about the mail-in rebate. I would say he was very reluctant, and tried to talk me into getting a $50+ lynksys, “they are so much better” BS. I told him I already had one, but needed a $30 netgear.

#17

Circuit City (and any other B&M store that pricematches) can get destroyed by matching BB’s sale on Verb media.

i 110% pricematched both 16X DVD+R and 52X CD-R at Circuit City and got the +Rs for $9.79ea and the CD-Rs for $13.39. can’t beat MCC004 @ 25 for $9.79.

p.s. also saw BenQ branded 1620Pros (both internal and external) at Circuit City…but didn’t bother to check the prices.

#18

Thank you.

I picked it up based on your and ripit’s posts. I flashed it to the latest Benq retail (B7v9) and it is an excellent drive! It came with cables, and software (which I do not use).

#19

is that price with rebate or without? That sounds like awesome deal, I’m going to get me some!!!

#20

instant rebate…no mail in

says ends 3/26/05 but that’s wrong, it’s good for this week.

don’t forget to check other retailers and pricematch for 110% of the difference to save another dollar or so. check Staples, Circuit City, OfficeDepot/Max, etc. etc.
