A woman received minor injuries when she was hit by a vehicle after she exited a grocery store in Mountain Home and was walking across the parking lot. Eighty-one year old Eleanor Kwasniecki was knocked to the ground and received a scrape on her right knee when a vehicle driven by 93-year old Minard Willson of Mountain Home hit the pedestrian and her shopping cart.
Mountain Home Police Department Sergeant Kevin Litty cited Minard Willson with hazardous driving in connection with the incident which occurred Wednesday morning shortly after 10 o'clock in the parking lot of Harp's Marketplace.

There were no injuries when a Mountain Home man's truck hit the front of the AT&T Cellular Mobility Store at 406 Highway 62 East, causing an estimated $2,000 damage to the structure.
Thirty year old Nathan McDonagh of Mountain Home told police the brakes on his 1996 Toyota Dodson pickup truck didn't work when he pulled up to the store so he attempted to put his truck in reverse to stop it. Instead, McDonagh accidentally put the truck in fourth gear and the truck hopped a parking space barrier and hit the building. There was $500 damage to the truck in the accident which occurred at 3:50 Wednesday afternoon.
