To DVDXCopy owners: how much does it take?

Considering you’re owning a fast computer, how much does it take to copy usually a movie? How much on-the-fly (DVD reader -> DVD burner) and how much making an ISO on the HD first?

no software allows on the fly copying -dvdxcopy included first all files need to decoded remove protection etc and then burn , writing a 2x for me 1 hour for a dvd-9 ,dvd-5 are much faster

Hm… 5-8GB taking one hour at 2x is not that longer than the actual recording time. The other processes should not take more than a few minutes then.

First of all you cannot copy on the fly, you have to create the image on the HD before recording, for multilayer DVD movie’s you will usually have to go thru creation of the image twice once for the disk one than for the second.

Average computer 1.4 P4, average dual layer dvd to 2 DVDR’s, no more than 2 hours.
