I picked up a spindle of 50 Benq DVD-R’s from Futureshop for $18.99cdn. They were burned in a NEC 3500a at 6x. Are these worth getting more of?

They identify as the following:

Unique Disc Identifier : [DVD-R:FUJIFILM03]

Disc & Book Type : [DVD-R] - [DVD-R]
Manufacturer Name : [Fuji Film]
Manufacturer ID : [FUJIFILM03]
Blank Disc Capacity : [2,298,496 Sectors = 4,489.3MB = 4.38GB (4.71GB)]

[ DVD Identifier - http://DVD.Identifier.CDfreaks.com ]

And here’s the scan:

Looks like that wrter is happy with them … I though Benq were Daxon, or is that the +R - which I seem to recall is also an adequate media, so long as the drive has reasonable support for it.

Where does the box say they are manufactured? Taiwan or India ?

#6

It says made in Taiwan. I’ve burned 15 of them so far and they all test almost the same. I’m going to grab another 100 since they are still on sale.
