When I connect my _NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG to my ThinkPad by USB cable, it simply calls it a CD drive but cannot recognize it as a DVD RW. However, when I go to the device manager, it reads the name of the device correctly, viz. _NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG but says that the default (Microsoft) driver is the best available driver even when I use the drivers CD that came with my _NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG drive. Any suggestions?
What is “it”, It’s only the stupid exploder which has a well known bug.
DRIVER comes with the OS, leave it.
