I have an “aquaintance” <20miles away that has had mature apricot trees for 20 years, in those 20 years he has gotten a saleable crop of apricots exactly twice.
so it is “possible” a couple degrees of average temp rise would make it far more likely.
But as I’m an unshakable believer in the perversity of the universe, I know that because I want something is sufficient reason for the universe to not deliver it.
Therefore global warming is a crock of fresh night-soil
