The last 52246S FW w/o Bugs is 6S0C = FW TX VSG4

Some User have Problems with FW 6S0D (I am also).

The FW from TX is inside the Version 6S0C from LiteOn. First you must extract the Bin-File from the EXE-File with the tool “Litefirm2.exe”. Second with MtkWinFlash you can flash your Drive to the new FW.

It work better with Smartburn, 99 Minute-CDR working, Media how Memorex 24x CDRW, Verbatim 24x CDRW …

Why not just download the bin file from my webbsite.

It’s better to DL from You Page. I have never seen the 6S0C FW for Free DL. My last FW I have seen was 6S0A. That’s why I go this way.

a portion of users have problems with every firmware version, 6S0C is no exception.

I’m having trouble recreating all the problems people brought up everyday at the forums. How do they do it? What is their secret? Why can’t they make shed work? …oh wait, I’ve just ventured into one of my rants again. My bad.

Got no problem w/ 6S0D here.:bigsmile: And yes, Dyzan’s Lite-On CDRW f/w page is the bomb, and so is Mango’s Lite-On DVD f/w page.:cool:

I have to agree with Stoner …

@rhytmos

I work only with CDRW, and there are difference between 6S0C and 6S0D. I have 25% more C1 and C2 Error by Media Memorex. The Drive slow down by 87 % of Space. Also better Results by Verbatim and Intenso Media.

To compare :
