Anyone else having a problem backing up The Illusionist with AnyDVD 18.104.22.168?
No, and beleive me we would have heard. If you discribe your problem in a little more detail maybe we can help? Try this update in the meantime ( it is a beta)http://sandbox.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD6106.exe
No mine went without any problem.
No problem with "The Illusionist" region 1 and AnyDVD 22.214.171.124
I too have had a problem and was using Anydvd and clone dvd. First try seemed to work but movie skipped a lot. Second and third try clone dvd would give error message. Had to put original on shelf and not let kids use as they tend to pile up discs and scratch them all to heck and back. I will try beta suggeated and let you know what happens tommorrow or later today.
I too am having trouble with "The Illusionist", when it is time to burn it says "Insufficient space on disk".??? When it starts it decompresses at 32% and it's only an hour and a half movie. What gives?
When you get the "Insufficient space on disk" error, try re-booting. Sometimes when I switch DVD's to burn a second one, my system will not refresh and sees my DVD burner as a CD. A re-boot will fix it, until the next time it happens.
That sounds a bit like a memory leak of some kind . . .
Hey Webslinger, my memory has been leaking for years, now back to my computer problem..........................LOL
I am having problems with the Illusionist, night listener, and crank. Crank copies but when I play it in the dvd player it plays the commentary and not the movie. The other two will read but as soon as they go to burn I get a 'error copying to disk' message. I am using anydvd with I copy DVDs 2.
Rebooting doesn't help, and what is a memory leak? I haven't had any problems until this movie. I have Any DVD 126.96.36.199 and 1 copy dvd. Anydvd reads it fine and then it copy's to 100% ,then I get the message that there isn't enough space on my media? It's a hour and a half movie and a 2 hour disc.
This is not an anydvd issue.
The other two will read but as soon as they go to burn I get a 'error copying to disk' message. I am using anydvd with I copy DVDs 2.
Thanks for the reply. I tried SetupAnyDVD6106.exe last night and got the same result. Usually when I get a error like this the updated version of AnyDVD fixes it, but not this time for some reason. Any other ideas????? Thanks again.
what is the size of you ripcheck it and make sure it is not larger than 4.35gb
Try selecting a different audio stream. All AnyDVD does is remove the protection , you have to check the correct audio stream with the software that you are using to write it with. Try CloneDVD2 from Elby/Slysoft.
It's pretty difficult to troubleshoot without having more information. Please answer these questions: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.php?p=1451939&postcount=1
By the way . . .
The best way to rip using Anydvd is to use Clonedvd2. If you can't or are not willing to do that, this is how you rip using Anydvd:
With the latest version of Anydvd running, drag and drop the video_ts folder to your desktop using Windows Explorer. Alternatively, you don't need to rip at all and can just directly import the disc into whatever burning application you want, provided Anydvd is running in the background. You don't necessarily need to rip first at all. Not having to rip first at all is one major advantage of using Anydvd.
If you can't get what you want using #1 and #2 first, then you right click on the fox icon on your toolbar and select rip video-dvd to hard disk--but only if methods 1 and 2 fail first. This method uses an old version of FixVTS, which is often not required.
