The Diva Won!

Holy crap! A freaking mare won the Melbourne Cup for the 3rd year in a row!!! against seasoned Stallions!

Was the race fixed, or what?

Tell us what you think!

hehe, the quote in my SIG says it all :p:p:p

Background info: What is the Melbourne Cup
It has to do with horses.

The Kebab Diva, or something like that.

the mare was heard saying - “if you want some, let me win”…

horse whore!

  • First: Makybe Diva
    • Second: On A Jeune
    • Third: Xcellent

Where do these people get these weird names from?
I resent names which are based on pi$$-poor netspeak or just bad spelling.
It’s spelled EXCELLENT, JUNE & MAYBE!
What’s wrong with “Fred, Jane or Mary” ?

Of course ‘Jeune’ is french for ‘young person’, but what the??? ‘On A Young Person’?
That poor person! It makes even less sense than the owners not being able to spell.

Okay since we’re talking horse names, heres some from upnorth. Yes, they are in english. We are weak minded slaves of the anglo-american imperialism. And they’re in ALL CAPS too.

MINGLA <-- IKEA naming scheme

A cavallo donato non si guarda in bocca

(translation: Never look a gift horse in the mouth)

funny you should mention, i was in IKEA two weeks ago and stocked up on those MINGLA’s - they are great.
(they look fantastic next to the OORGLUPS’s and the FLAAKSHPITZ!!!)

My favourite racehorse name, ‘Norfolk and Chance’, was used for several months until someone reported it to the racing authorities.

I don’t get it?
Why was it reported to the Authorities?

no fkn chance …LOL!!! guess they have a rule prohibiting potentially offensive names???

Norfolk & Chance

I dont get it either. Is it that terrible to live in Norfolk?

More random I think …

Exactly.

@the others…

Say it quickly, and imagine Irish accent: “No F**king Chance” (of winning).

Lol!
