Ok this isn’t quite within the rules, sue me. :stuck_out_tongue:
Here’s a jitter result for the rest of you to aim for, try and beat this. (These results are repeatable, BTW).

Category: Write Quality/DVD (PI levels are high with my later batches of Staples brand AE1 unfortunately)
MID: CMC AE1 (Staples brand)
Type: DVD-R 8x
Burned with: Nero Burning ROM
Burn speed: 4x
Drive: Benq 1640 BSLB WOPC on, SB off

Category: Write Quality/DVD
MID: CMC E01 (HP brand)
Type: DVD+R 8x
Burned with: Nero Burning ROM
Burn Speed: 4x
Drive: Benq 822 B3LC

Not one of my better PIF results of the discs, but the PI and jitter make up for it.

More fun for the jitter obsessed (I might be the only one  ):

Category : Write Quality/DVD
MID: Prodisc R02 (Spin-X brand)
Type: DVD+R 4x
Burned with: Nero Burning ROM
Burn speed: 4x
Drive: Benq 1640 BSLB WOPC on SB off

I think 8x is the min. burn speed

It will be tough to beat these burns. I am on the road again.

OK, My 1640 died and I just got a replacement 1650. Here is my first really good disk (took 3 tries with SB on/on). I attached the speed graph too, I don’t know what caused that little bump.
