The ASPI32 service failed to start

Win2000 here, I see this error on "Event Viewer" every time my system starts:
"The ASPI32 service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified."
I have no particular problems with the drives or burning apps, apart from some unpredictable system crashes when I have UDF programs installed and insert a blank disc in the RW drive.
Anybody know what this message may be about and how to fix it?
This "service" is not listed in the services section of Adm. Tools. I currently have all UDF programs fully uninstalled.

I found some old registry entries, I think from InCD, deleted them and the error is gone.
