Alright, I have one simple question regarding the recent news about putting a jumper into the 6th pin to change the Teac R58S to a R55S. I understand that once you do this, it will allow the writer to do RAW.
My only question is this, what software are people using to extract the data from the original copy protected cd, then what software are people using to burn the data?
I've typically used Nero on my R58S to make an image, then using Nero to burn to a blank cd. I generally have use a crack to get the program to work though.
By changing jumpers on the R58S so that it acts like a R55S, what is that going to do for me besides RAW? Will it get rid of me needing to use cracks?
