I picked up a 100 pack of these discs tonight to try out. After letting CD Speed 2000 burn a data disc for me, I ran a quality test. The graph showed no problems, and there were no C2 errors (C1 errors weren't shown for some reason). I know that these discs are hated, but I don't see any INITIAL problem with them. Am I just lucky to get a good spindle or will I run into more problems as I use them? What about longevity? Will I see good discs now but show them as deteriorated in 2 years?
I plan to use these mostly for
1) data archival of e-mail, etc.
2) storing pics of the kids and family
3) distributing pics of the kids and family
4) audio compilations (MP3) and possibly disc backup of software.
Should these go back?
