I have a Canon EOS 550D DSLR.
It included 2 kit lenses (EF-S 18-55, F/3.5-5.6 and EF-S 55-250, F/4-5.6)
Today I experimented a bit in a limited lit environment (Zoo with aquarium). There I noticed that this camera is not great in low lit environments and higher shutter speeds (the use of flash was not an option).
I understand that a bigger Aperture (lower F-number) is better for situations like this. I found some cool Canon lenses, but they are EUR 1,700...a bit much for playing around and not knowing whether this could become a serious hobby.
Now I heard Tamron is good as well. As I have no knowledge on the subject, I am hoping some of you can help me out. Would the following lenses be of good enough quality for my purpose:
Or should I stick with the lenses I have, buy a good flashlight (suggestions are welcome) and a tripod (any suggestions are welcome also)?
Thanks for your suggestions!
