Hi. I'm trying to find a reputable online shop in the US that has TY 8X DVD +R silver printable.
I usually shop at rima.com but they only carry the white (anybody know why?).
No idea why. Haven't heard anything about silver printable DVD+R, any particular reason why you want the silver printable over the white tops?
I actually prefer the look of the silver after going through my epson R300 printer.
I'm assuming that, quaility wise, thier is no difference between the silver and white tops.
No, though TY don't actually make white printables, the printed surface is added by another company by liscence.
I don't think it will be of much help but the silvers are available, but I have only seen them a -Rs not +Rs. Rima has them: http://www.rima.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=R&Product_Code=1739-100
Therefore they may not do +R silver printable discs at all.
TY sells inkjet printables (hub and non-hub) under its own brand "That's" in Japan, so I think they make printables to some degree. The hub printables sold in the US I believe have the printable layer added by another company.
Interesting, I have only seen for sale -R silvers, I'll have to look further afield here in the UK then to see if I can find +Rs.
Looks like supermediastore will work fine.
