If it is real is it a good deal at $1.14 including tax a disk and here i would like to know exactly how you can tell as i hear it is being spoofed with fake media codes.Any help would be greatly appreciated, was actually quite excited to find it as it is not sold locally or anywhere in my vicinity thanks again.

There should be some ID or serial on the package…

Hello kickingbird

Can you look around the hub of the discs for a serial or batch number, and post what you see? These will tell us if they’re genuine.

Having said that, I haven’t seen or heard of Fujis being fake TY so you may have yourself a bargain there.
If it is real is it a good deal at $1.14 including tax a disk
Sounds expensive to me.

Even though I’m from the UK I’d agree with that. Mind you if it’s genuine T02…

OK guys this is not a spindle individual disks in a single case they are blue liner and says FUJIFILM DVD+R on outside. The disk itself is silver on top the bottom side is purplish but the colour is not as deep i think as i have seen on other disks. My belief was darker colour better burn thought on that??.On very bottom of disk says with reading glasses on i see two things.Just below the line where burn starts TGOO1133 AND directly above it on top underneath burnline 0403. Thats all i can tell ya thanks for info.

Have a look here.

Yes, they’re genuine, T (DVD+R) and G (8x speed) match YUDEN000 T02

So what dollar store was this? Here in West-by-God-PA, we are flooded with dollar stores stocked with junk, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, $1 Store. bla, bla.

Just to be clear, that is one disk in a case? Not any kind of a spindle? (If, so rats.) It will never sell at that price, so I will pick them up when they deeply discount it.

Ditto we have many $1 stores here also :flower:

Hmmm yes they were all mixed up with a whole bunch of stuff TDK,Memorex,Pro Data,Maxell and others can’t think of off hand,cd’s and dvd’s but PokerCat got me to thinking if they come in by the case.I am going to have to check on that  could be a discount there but sheesh it is a dollar store.Lets be clear after i suspected my find was correct i tried my hand at a little bargaining.I told him the Dollarama across the street has dvd’s 2 for a buck which they do pretty good ones to i heard Verbatim DVD-R 16X certified.

So the Taiyo Yuden disc is the best??.I can expect to archive material and not worry for how long.I got to looking at the link platinumsword posted most comments are good never says excellent. How would the Verbatims mentioned above compare to the Yudens. Is it worth the price difference for archiving material the guy over here http://tinyurl.com/ykxj84 says in his experience DVD+R is superior by the way he gives good plug to you knowledgable folk here at CD Freaks

So there is no way to tell just by the mediacode nero or dvdinfo provides alone, gotta eyeball the disks.Anyways thanks for everybody’s input.

Ok, So we know it is not Dollarama. If I promise not to buy DVDs in .CA when I play poker at the Indian casino outside of Buffalo, will you tell which dollar store you found the TY’s in?
