What is the best software to synchronise the contents of folders on two different hard drives (each on a different machine)?
One cool program that can do this is pcAnywhere--it lets use the remote computer's desktop remotely.
Laplink can do it too I believe.
There's free software like VNC.
There's another nice piece of software. It's shareware but runs indefinately with some small limitations. But if you really like it it's worth buying: http://chdsoftware.free.fr/
It's the ultimate for file comparisons.
You can read more here about VNC, etc:http://groups.google.com/groups?q=best+free+remote+control+software&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&safe=off&selm=R_WF8.105000%24GG6.8618654%40news3.calgary.shaw.ca&rnum=1
Hope this helps,Tek.
It's helped a lot, thanks very much.
