(SYBA SD-ATA133R) IDE Controller for (ATA/ATAPI) Devices

Hello everyone!

Ok down to business, I ordered a SYBA SD-ATA133R IDE Controller for my DVD RW drives… I don’t know if this is going to work since this is the first time trying out an IDE controller on a disc drive, I’m just familiar with RAID’s =). Has anyone had any experience with this controller? I’m planning to use it on my NEC ND-3500AG, NEC ND-3540A, BenQ DW1640, and LITE-ON SOHW-1693S. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Please let us know if it worked or not.

Have you seen the BIG thread about controllers? http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=90930

Yes, that one works really well.

The card has a Silicon Image chip, according to OC-Freak that’s good. :iagree:
