[qanda]This thread is about the Sharp LC-40C32U AQUOS 32" LCD TV. Click here to see full specs[/qanda]I have a Sharp Aquos TV that receives over the air HDTV. I have it hooked up to my Zenith surround sound system (not sure which one off the top of my head). I don't subscribe to HD cable. What i want to do is to hook the surround sound up in a way that I can receive the HD channels over the air but still have the surround sound work. THe cable is fed through the surround sound DVD player and thus can't pick up the HDTV channels and use the surround sound at the same time. I know I can change the channels on the TV to get the HDTV channels but then the surround sound doesn't work. Any thoughts/suggestions/ideas? I want to get it hooked up before football starts so I can watch it in HD but feel like I'm there as well.
Check the TV. It should have a digital audio out and you can hook that to your receiver.
