This sounds like a bit of a gimmick to me, the software appears to just cache the files to RAM before writing them to the drive in the background. It’s still likely going to take the same amount of time to actually write a 10GB file to the drive, because as the article says, this is just a regular flash drive.

Umm, the USB port limits the speed hence no 4GB/s - currently USB3 can do ~640 MBps max!
