Super DVD Creator

Is this program any good? Does it do what it claims to (especially regarding DivX to DVD conversion)?

Any feedback appreciated

Sorry, never heard of it, do you have a URL to it?

There it is…it could one of them “scam” jobs, or it could be a very good tool. I may have look-see later.

I’ve been meaning to write one, for a while, I have just been so darn busy I just havent gotten there yet, sorry.

A simple guide that re-encodes to DVD compliance.

  1. Extact the mpg file off the cd using Isobuster to a true mpg file.
  2. Load into DVD2AVI and save project.
  3. Convert the *.d2v file to an AVI using VFAPI.
  4. Load avi into DVD2svcd as per the AVI to DVDR tutorial.
  5. Do this to each mpg file of the svcd set.
  6. Author in Maestro linking the end action of the last Chapter of 1st movie to the start of the second (and end of second to start of 3rd). DVDLab can also be used.
  7. Burn

The extracted Audio may have to be manually converted from 44.1khz to 48khz.

i use svcd2dvd (freeware) for that…it is very easy…

and then author a small menu with DVdlab

Thx very much

your welcome

This software worked great for a while. I use it for burning downloaded Xvid files to DVD. In the last few days it is no longer putting a file into the audio_ts folder, so there is no sound any more! It is still producing the *.ac3 file as I can see it as it writes to the HD, but does not convert it into the audio_ts temp folder, it just dissapears.
I can’t remember installing anything new lately.
I have googled the problem but no luck so far.

Any ideas welcome!

Running WinXP Pro on Sempron 3100, 1gig, 120 meg SATA, LG 16x Burner etc.

The audio_ts folder should be empty. It is only used for “audio DVD’s”.

Thanks for that Gurm, your comment put me on the right track!
Reinstalling the AC3 filter has done the trick.
Cheers
