Summer jobs?

currently looking into a summer job…anyone have any suggestions or experiences with any jobs? thanks.

Strawberrypicking ages ago.

I drove a cab in Manhattan but those were the days when you could honk your horn.

Roughnecking in the oilfields. Don’t really recommend it.

Copyediting for a local publisher was a lot less dangerous.

Now i check traps for pests (coddling moth if you know anything about orchards)

@ZepFloyd: there’s two things of which you need to get experience: work culture and customer culture.

Get a job in a department store.

I unloaded trailers and boxcars. Don’t do anything like that. Your back will go out later in life.

Made great money (all cash), was in the best shape of my life, got to spend the whole summer outside…life was good.
But that was a loooonnnnggg time ago.
