Do you have problems with TYG01 right now? If not, the stock TYG01 strategy should be just fine. If you want to overspeed, TYG02 worked as a good strategy for 8x overspeeding for the earlier 3S drives, so I would guess that it’d work for KS09. I don’t know if anyone has tried it with KS09.

it’s my first time learning all this stuff. I had have a pioneer 106 and never bothered with tweaking it or bothered with pie/pif scanning. :slight_smile:

I also have an 4163. I guess I can compared both drives and see which is better.

just tested omnipatcher and one of the recommended write strategies is tyg01 using tyg02 write strategy. and changing speed doesn’t affect anything since it’s already using tyg02. :smiley:
