Subtitles on DVD's (Does anyone speak danish?)

Hello everyone. (:

It would be great if anyone in here could speak danish, and help me with my problem, but english is okay too. (;

I bought a DVD (Requiem For a Dream) and several other DVD's, but none of them contains danish subtitles. So I would like to know, if it's possible (even for a newbie as myself) to maybe add subtitles on to a DVD?

Sorry I don’t speak Danish. Yes it is possible to add subtitles but it is not easy (meaning there is no one-click solution). You can google for commercial software, they might be easier to use, or if you would like to spend some time reading/learning/experimenting you can take a look at this guide, http://forum.videohelp.com/topic338721.html. You will have to decrypt (remove the copy protection) of your DVD and copy it to your hard drive.
